The Memory Wall Sutras of Yoga Flirt

Dec 16, 2015

“Sutra literally means ‘thread’, each Sutra being the barest thread of meaning upon which a teacher might expand by adding his or her own ‘beads’ of experience…for the sake of the students”*

Then each student gets to take hold of the thread and add her own meaning and value through her experiences. When each of these threads is woven together we get the rich tapestry that is yoga.

Flirt Sister Love!

Flirt Sister Love!

As I sit on the benches at Yoga Flirt and admire the memory wall, I see so many beautiful, colorful, rich threads. Each sister bringing her own experience and meaning, sharing her story for the sake of us all.

Together these threads create the rich, vibrant tapestry that is Yoga Flirt. It is sooooooo beautiful. Unique. Once-in-a-lifetime. Sisterhood. Community. Love.

I am grateful, humbled, in awe, inspired.

Have you shared your story and experiences? You can email them to me or write them in person by December 18.

Let your voice contribute to beauty for the sake of us all.
