Cathy Weiss MA,Ed., E-RYT 500, Queen Flirt

Cathy Weiss’ passion is to empower women with a new found sense of who they truly are. She created Yoga Flirt as a non-competitive environment to allow each woman’s style to shine. Cathy’s students experience higher self-esteem, renewed confidence, reinvigorated sensuality, and more fun in their lives. Her patient and encouraging instruction allows students to learn and grow at their own pace. Her classes include a fun and inspiring mix of calm inward focus, high intensity silliness, and detailed directions for positive results physically, mentally and emotionally. Her passion and enthusiasm supports women to embrace their femininity by becoming bona fide Yoga Flirts.

“I’m just an average girl from the LA suburbs who decided to live an extraordinary life. Part of my life’s work is to inspire other women to do the same.”

Cathy’s yogic path began in 1996 when she was looking to relieve some of the stress related to teaching first grade. She gradually built up to a full time practice, finding patience, compassion and a new found sense of humor toward life. 10 years later, in the spring of 2006, she completed her 200 hour teacher training program through Yoga Works with her most beloved teacher Jeanne Heileman along with Natasha Rizopolous. She worked closely with mentor Jeanne in 2012 to complete her 300 hour professional yoga teacher program and become certified at the 500 hour level. She has also studied Therapeutic Yoga with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal and Pre/Post Natal Yoga. Cathy began teaching yoga in 2006 in corporate settings and yoga studios in the Pasadena area and opened her own yoga studio on California’s Central Coast in October 2007.
